Motzei Shabbos Update

YB is feeling much better and his fever is gone. His appetite has somewhat returned - he was able to enjoy his erev Shabbos chocolate pudding with the others (see above picture!)

Also nice this erev Shabbos was the new friday morning chavrusa started between Ben and Reuben - they are learning meseches Sukkah which they hope to finish in honor of Abba's yahrtzeit.

BH we had a very nice Shabbos. Pretty quiet. Since Shabbos has started coming in early, the boys have been joining us for Friday night seuda. They are usually in top form (read: exhausted) since it is right around their bedtime. Moshe Meir spilled his soup all over the (plastic cover-less) tablecloth, Shaya threw all his projects around the room, and Yaakov Baruch dumped all his food off his highchair. A great time was had by all:) Suffice it to say, we took a break after the soup to put everyone to SLEEP! Shabbos day was a bit calmer. The boys went to the park with a neighbor (yay!) YB took a 2 1/2 hour nap (also yay!).

Previews for the coming week include: Shaya learning letters ches and tes, Moshe Meir learning the color green, Binyamin learning some daf or other, Felicia returning to dissertation work, and YB learning to eat with a spoon! Should be good...we'll keep you posted!

Happy Birthday to Uncle Heshy! Sorry its a day belated. The boys said that they would draw happy birthday cards to post, but they haven't, so we're posting without them!

Moshe Meir's Upsherin!

Just wanted to let you all see a picture of Moshe Meir with his new "big boy" haircut! Cute huh? We have gotten several comments that he resembles Ben more now. We personally think that he resembles his cousin Dani (Beiser) although not so much in this particular picture. Either way, pretty cute! He is quite proud of himself and we are so glad not to be dealing with ponytails anymore:)

Yaakov Baruch is sick:(

Well, I took him to the dr. this morning and he definitely agreed with me: YB is sick. And to think, i didn't even go to med school.
Anyhow, it seems to NOT be: ear infection, strep
So, even with all that med school, dr. could not say what was wrong. Which leads us to conclude....virus. He is very kvetchy. Not fun.
Just thought you'd like to know...

The Beiser Blog Begins!

Ok... after much prompting from Zaidy Schor, we are attempting to begin a family Blog. This is to take the place of the family update.
We will see if this is successful. It is certainly a fun way to procrastinate.

As of today (Monday), Binyamin's bechina is OVER and he feels it went well. Also YB seems to be sick.
